I’m still recovering from last weekend after having 2 markets and a birthday party, (just as well I love what I do). On Saturday’s Uni Market I had these two lovely ladies opposite me. Anita had the coolest jewellery handmade from buttons. I was very tempted as a love different handcrafted items to add to my wardrobe or house. In fact I often use jewellery or clothing as part of my display in the house. It’s also interesting to see what other people are doing to add to their income by making things they love. So if you have a little hobby why not try selling at the markets. It’s a great way to meet people and it’s an inexpensive way to kick off into a little business. The new Style Market at Salt Studios was alot of fun with heaps of vintage style clothing from various stall holders and designer labels at bargain prices from Smoke and Mirrors. This market proves to have alot of potential in the future, so if you didn’t get down there this time, keep an eye out and make sure you don’t miss the next one. I could have come home with heaps of gorgeous items but I left that to my daughter who thinks she was born in the wrong era and aquired a very vintage A line velvet floral skirt in chocolates and oranges to match her hair, a beige 70′s style dress and cool burnt orange pants all at bargain prices.
